Jonny Kim Returns to Earth After 8 Months on ISS

The Korean American astronaut touched down aboard a Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft along with two Russian cosmonauts.

A Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft carrying NASA astronaut Jonathan (Jonny) Kim and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky has returned to Earth, Russia's Roscosmos space agency said on Tuesday.
Jonny Kim spent 8 months aboard the International Space Station after lifting off aboard the Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft on April 8, 2025
The spacecraft landed at 08:04 Moscow time (05:04 GMT) near the Kazakh city of Zhezkazgan, the agency said.
