Cody Hibbard Speaks Country with Blue-Collar Anthems

Following a viral run on CBS’s The Road, Cody Hibbard is set to release a new single with John Daly on January 23rd.

Cody Hibbard is an independent country artist whose profile reached new heights in late 2025 following a standout appearance on the CBS competition show The Road.  His performance of his 2023 blue-collar anthem “We Speak Country” earned high praise from judges Blake Shelton and Keith Urban and is now his most popular song on YouTube.

Hibbard’s most streamed song “Dying Breed” hits key country themes of self-reliance, traditional values, and a tough work ethic.  The song was the lead on his 2020 premiere album Memory and a Dirt Road.

Of the same year “Armed & Dangerous” serves as a staple of his high-energy live sets.

From his 2021 self-titled EP “I’ve Been There Too” boasts a relatable honesty, blending the hardships of manual labor with the yearning of small-town life.

The release of his 2024 album Long Ride in a Short Bed helped garner further industry attention, ultimately securing his spot on The Road.

Hibbard was raised on an Oklahoma farm after being adopted from South Korea at 13 months old.  While on the road as a pipeline worker, a restaurant in Crocket, Texas spotted his talent and invited him to perform on upcoming shows prompting more songwriting that launched his music career. 

His next single features PGA legend John Daly is set to be released on January 23rd.
