Joel Wong Seeks Asians for Masculinity Study

A research study is seeking Asian American men to participate in a study on men’s experiences of masculinity. The study is being conducted by professors Joel Wong of Indiana University and Ronald Levant of the University of Akron.

“We are particularly interested in recruiting Asian men for this project because we believe it’s important to have an inclusive representation of masculinity experiences,” says spokesman Matt Welsh.

Subjects will asked to complete an online questionnaire that measures demographics and social status. Then they will be asked to complete ten sentences followed by a survey consisting six additional questionnaires.

“We anticipate that the study should take about 15 minutes (plus or minus a few) to complete,” says Welsh.

Participants must be male and at least 18 years old. As a token of appreciation they will be eligible to enter a raffle to win one of four $50 gifts.
