China is home to over 3,000 high education institutions, but only a few of them are considered elite. These three schools are reshaping global innovation and are quietly competing with the best universities in the world.

To finish our list, we have Zhejiang University, another one of China’s oldest modern institutions, founded in 1897 in Hangzhou, which is known to be a huge innovation hub. Zhejiang creates excellence across engineering, medicine, agriculture, and business, turning it into a hotspot for startups and applied research.
