Hyundai Sales Rose 11% in February

Hyundai Motor Co. of Korea said Tuesday that its U.S. sales rose 11 percent in February, as storms in the eastern and central parts of the country kept many customers at home.
BY THE NUMBERS: Sales rose to 34,004 from 30,621 last year. So far this year, sales are up 17 percent to 64,507 from 55,133.
TOP SELLERS: The Elantra small car, with 7,966 sold, and the Santa Fe crossover SUV, with 7,964 sold. Sales of the Sonata midsize sedan jumped to 7,506 from 4,743, and sales of the Tuscon compact SUV more than doubled to 2,741.
