Sydney Park Joins Latest Installment of the Scary Movie Franchise
By James Moreau | 06 Jun, 2026

From headlining Netflix slashers to her stand-up roots, Park’s unique background fits perfectly for Scary Movie 6.

Sydney Park is set to be featured in the highly anticipated revival of the horror-comedy franchise with Scary Movie 6 to be released on June 5th.  The Korean American actress has spent years carving out a versatile path across both film and various series, leaning on her sharp comedic timing and extensive background in suspense.

She starred in the 2025 polyamorous feature You, Me & Her, preceded by a romantic leading role in the 2022 film First Love.  Horror fans likely recognize her from the 2021 Netflix slasher There’s Someone Inside Your House.  Park’s presence in acclaimed series has been just as formidable. She starred in 2019’s Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and took on a lead role on Lifeline in 2017.  Notably, Park also appeared in 12 episodes of the hit show The Walking Dead as Cyndie between 2016 and 2019.

Park broke into the industry in 2003, making history as the youngest comedian to ever perform at the Hollywood Improv at just six years old.  She later gained national attention as Syd the Kid on the inaugural season of America’s Got Talent in 2006 before her acting debut on That’s So Raven the same year.

The 28-year-old actress continues to bridge the gap between her roots in stand-up comedy and her status as a prominent screen talent.  As she steps into the Scary Movie universe, Park proves that her journey from a pint-sized comic to a versatile leading lady is only just beginning.
